The activities of The Japan Menopause Society：
JMS in the Menopause Week 2010 of Japan

The Japan Menopause Society has designated October the 18th as the World Menopause Day and the period from the 18th to 24th as the Menopause Week 2010 in Japan.

Activities of "Menopause week 2010"
  • 1. Produce and Distribute posters
  • 2. Conduct questionnaire surveys
    Find clues about barriers and solution to the wider acceptance of menopause medicine / healthcare
  • 3. Put out a media release and press show
    Raise awareness of "Menopause week" through the media, and promote better social understanding on menopause
  • 4. Advertise in newspapers
    Answer to the questions collected from web survey and propose adequate knowledge on menopause, for the healthy aging during the "change of time". This will eventually lead to the site visit of the Japan Menopause Society, as well as the visits to the specialist of menopause.
